I think is a bug, some factions are unable to land your army (Duchy of Athens), you have to put the boat close to the shore and remove the army manually.
use your army instead of the boats and you can complete the missions
the Kantakouzenos it is not playable. Is a shadow faction.
Is a script made for this version 1.5 to balance the finances when you surpasses 30.000 and make a litle harder the game. You need to just enjoy and play it that. Have fun :)
I play it KoSJ and dont have that problem, the corruption script has ever appeared to you, if it is because of that.

I really like this mod, and I have some suggestions:
The assassin´s are too OP, so it should be reduced.
The low birth rate in noble houses, so it should be increased.
Because of the new religion conversion system, AI always builds the jewish suburb and gibbets to maximum, and turn these regions rebels and the faction can be destroyed, soo they should remove these constructions from the mod or change their religion status.
I have some observations too:
IA Bosnia always tries to conquer Ancona our some city in Italy soo keeps it out of the game.
The UI flag of albania in the forts is from the rebels.
Some weird stuff happens when you enter diplomatically with the knights of saint john.
The mine in the city of Brescia has no income.
Italian lesser knights missing unit info.

yes kantakouzenoi still alive, in the albania campaign maybe because an army of kantakouzenoi passed to roman, and in bavaria campaign a region from kantakouzenoi to roman. It autosave still happen the exit to desktop. Kantakouzenoi is after roman turn.
I play it Milan the same problem 116 turn (Byzantium).

o lot of lines say (bla,bla,bla) fired, and game just exit, no menssage say sorry pal.. just exit.
I managed to maintain the campaign with Milan but i go back 2 turns with my backup save and the campaing continued.
With my campaign Albania is turn 62 and the campaign Bavaria turn 82, the game exit to desktop, it's always on the roman empire's shift (Byzatium).
I will play with another faction to see if the same happens.
There is some kind of AI bug with byzatium. The game goes to the desktop and in order to continue the campaign I have to kill the faction with surrender_regions.
It must be because of some unit in the army. Just move that army and the game continues.

when the shadow faction of Serbia and Hungary or even Byzantine, when they eliminate their rivals, the entire territory they won becomes rebellious and those factions are destroyed.

It turns out that many factions are simply destroyed for no apparent reason.
The error may be because there is a battle in some faction.
when a faction reappears it returns with princesses in its army and the game cannot deal with it.

I like the idea of joining lindon and imlandris in just one faction. will open a slot for a new faction so the question was which? I was thinking perhaps of the separation of north dunedain and Bree, in the three kingdoms that formed Arnor. Or will something new be created without having to deal with the history of the Middle-earth world?
who is sadpanda101... Wich-king of angmar return when angmar take imlamdris. I liked it so much that it was possible to create the city of the dead in the white mountains.
