This is the mod that got me into modding Homeworld 2. The Modular destroyers and the supercarrier especially had me more excited for new gameplay than anything else. Its a shame as of me writing this that REARM is discontinued for the time being, I can only hope future updates will come.

Freelancer is an older gem from Microsoft's golden years. I love the story to death and there's always something to find when replaying the single player. Even though the online servers don't exist anymore, multiplayer is still going strong with RP and PvP servers and the fun never ends. Definitely the best space sim I've ever had the pleasure of playing.

Homeworld 2 is one of my favorite games and there isn't anything like it out there. While completely dated, the game still manages to surprise me both by modding and playing it. The ships all have their own unique style and the story is pretty in-depth. If someone were to ask me what the best RTS out there was, it would be HW2... followed closely behind C&C3: Kane's Wrath.

Definitely one of the leading pioneers in the HW2 modding community. Each release brings something new to HW2 that hasn't been previously seen and the mod teams works extra hard to make the mod as unique and enjoyable as possible. Their scripting prowess and effects are more than enough to back up my claims.

For what it's worth, Complex is a really innovative and amazing mod for HW2. It brings a lot to the table and expands on things that needed to be in the vanilla, such as diplomacy and resourcing.

However, the game at times can become too complex, and beginners will have a hard time with even the normal AI settings.
