During André's vacation, there is no development progress. If you have any questions feel free to message the Project Manager; Anderwin, he will answer your questions when he isn't busy.

A test version for the update 1.6.8 is being uploaded, and all that have bought the game or all that is invite to test the game can try out that new version. NOTE: That release is unfinished, and may have bugs, flaws and instability. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. The test release is just for you guys to test the new features as it they are being added. We are aiming to publish such a test version at least once a week.

And about the Linux version: Unfortunately we don't have a computer with a Linux Distribution installed on (Ubuntu). We could use André's laptop, but the specif cations on that computer is very low, and it's not an ideal computer for testing and benchmarking. So unfortunately Linux development is stalled until we can get hold of a computer. Installing Ubuntu on the main computer could work, but would than have to Build Linux Version->Reboot->Boot Ubuntu->Test Linux Version->Reboot->Boot Windows->Start Unity3D->Load Project. That sequence is not ideal at all, the development will be much quicker if the sequence was something like this: Build Linux Version->Transfer Linux Version to Ubuntu Computer->Test Linux Version. And that's it! No rebooting, no restarting of Unity3D and loading project. A lot of time will be saved. I'm sorry about that news. But do not get upset! Ubuntu will be installed on the laptop, and the testing will be done there (not prioritized).

The preview video for the test version:

Have you thought about using a VM for Linux testing? Performance wouldn't be ideal probably, but it might give you an idea of how it'll look

I have thought of that. I have tried with VirtualBox, but the performance was not good. At my old workplace we used VMware ESXi, and I had very good performance there with Blender (Ubuntu). Going to try the VMware Player 5.0, if I have enough time before my vacation.

I forgot to mentioned, that hardware acceleration, on the VirtualBox VM, was enabled, and all drivers were installed. And hardware virtualization extensions was also enabled, both on the host motherboard's bios, and on the VirtualBox VM.

Will try with VirtualBox, again. Now with 32-bit Ubuntu, and not 64-bit.
