Honestly, they were doing it long before the US and the revolution was even an idea. England never liked the prospect of being ruled by outsiders, which I completely agree with.
Independence, and Sovereignty.
Two things a nation should strive for.
Conservatives whine about leftists not being patriotic, then moan about their own government's very existence the moment it does anything but bomb someone.
I'm a libertarian if that's what you're asking.
Actually war is pretty univerally hated amongst the US people. Govt's ignore organized protests against it or opinion polls.
