The sad thing is that my girlfriend at the time actually bought me this as a gift but I never actually got to play it because her bratty little sister broke it before she could give it to me. :(
That sucks. You should get it again on Steam as there are servers that people host that are still out there! The campaign is interesting, but not fantastic.
I played it originally on Xbox 360 when it came out and it was essentially my first "Battlefield" kind-off game and I loved it. It had a fun community and a interesting single-player that was a bit captivating, even if it was a standard world-economic/disaster scenario. Its to bad the community died when BF Bad Company 2 was around and eventually the other COD titles that crapped over it stomped it out.
I got it on steam late for dirt-cheap price and there are some steam groups on there that meet up and play the game! Its really fun and in some very rare areas, still alive!
Honestly - yes. When all these battlefields came out, there is no more space for this game any more. It had some interesting ideas for those times, but today it has almost nothing to offer. But still, I like the frontline mode, where you have to control few points at the same time, until the frontline moves further. Would like to see such mode in BF series.
What a great game Frontlines: Fuel Of War was. This was a great tank in it.
