Are T-72 still produced or they are just upgrading them?
This one seems brand new...
There are just upgraded up to the latest T-72. Later they'll release their new heavy MBT the T-99 based on the Armata Universal combat chassis, which is further based from the T-95 Object 195. Nothing to do with the medium tank Black-Eagle T-80UM2 oby 640, which was cancelled, because of the T-80 poor jet engine performance in Chechnya, further development of T-80 has stopped in Russia, but not in Ukraine.
