In Kiel, northern Germany, police and army have seized from an 78 year old pensioner's house the following items: A Panther Ausf. D, 88-mm Flakgeschütz 18 AKA Flak-18 , a torpedo and some rifles and machineguns.
The mayor, Alexander Orth is not surprised by the find: "He was chugging around in that thing during the snow catastrophe in 1978".
Wonder if it's for sale...

Seems like he liked he's stuff so much he kept them after the war.
And look how well they look. I mean he must have taken care of them quite good =)
Also, "Flakgeschütz 18 AKA Flak-18" Isn't FlAK short for Flugzeug Abwehr Kanone? makes no sense to have an extra Geschutz after it.
Correct but from my limited knowledge of German language, they can turn a sentence into a word for naming stuff. Flugzeugabwehrkanone is an example of that.
