Description
A German-US joint project to create a MBT which lead to the future MBTs of both countries. The tank was equiped with a 152mm or 120mm, it even had a autoloader. In the end the project was cancelled.
Shares a lot of things in common with the abrams, nto so much with the leo.
i wish that was are MBT, but abrams is still good.
it was a joint-us & (at that time) west german project. some of the research the west germans did on the mbt-70, they applied it on the leopard.
Looks like a hybrid of the M60 and Abrams.
Who did the enginiering work? the germans or the us?
