Why did the French lose in WWII again?
they was french?
Never saw combat unfortunately
Yeah, they were not adopted for transportation on the railways, and were very slow. All of them were destroyed by german aircraft in 1940 during one attack.
Almost all 2C destroyed by french crews in june 1940, only tank #99 Champagne survived and used on the german trials.
The French lost because the Germans were fighting better, and the French were woefully unprepared for blitzkrieg warfare. The Germans also went into combat with the advantage of massed tanks using radios- French tanks, while better than most of the German tanks at the time were used piecemeal, in support of infantry and were without radio.
O really? France was unprepared? France was more than prepared. Carelessness failed them. In late 30th England, France, Poland, USSR had more than enough power to destroy nazism in birth. Who let things slide in Spane? We know whom to say "thank's" for Munich Agreement. We also know who prohibited USSR to help Czechoslovakia. What was doing France in 1939 while Hitler was devouring Poland? Western front kept silence... Western Allies played big politics, and they noticed too late that they are playing with double-edged axe.
