Being a Conservative, I agree that the United States simply cannot afford Free Healthcare at this time. However, I think that the Republican party is going about fighting it entirely wrong.
I rarely agree with Mike Huckabee about anything but he had an interesting idea for how to handle the situation. His suggestion was draft a bill that allowed Obamacare through, but had the stipulation that in 2015 it would have to be renewed. So basically the program could be tested in a real life situation, the general public could get a chance to see if they liked it or not, and see how it affects the economy. Then lawmakers could renew Obamacare, draft a new plan, or go back to the old one.
