Only an advanced civilization could forge things in crystal, or perhaps even grow them. The Atlanteans are even more of a possibility.

I did read something that they used crystals extensively and that the Bermuda triangle is infact a site where they had pyramids that used crystals to tune the tectonic plates or something like that and at Atlantis fall they got messed up and the area became hazardous
The more you go into the past the more advanced things to be found
