I have been told that a majority of Russians actually support the anti-gay propaganda law. If this is true that this complicates the situation as any stance against this law from the West can (and will) been seen as an attack on Russian culture itself rather than support for human rights.
Well they did let people decide democratically which means MAJORITY RULES! That is certainly a more democratic system than in the west... (At least that's based on my understanding which could be wrong)
Whilst people are stripped of their human rights, the EU stands idly by and pretends there's nothing going on. This is ******* disgusting.
