I highly doubt that the main reason for american aggression is to get more immigrants.
There's a fallacy that many tend to fall into, which is to make correlations between unrelated data that has similar patterns.

This is highly unlikely, especially when you consider the other reasons for american policy (create a conflict and make other nations pay us to help them with it). I don't deny the statements that the population increase is going to have major economic benefits, but that's way way in the future as most immigrants are consumers rather than producers/workers.

One thing to consider is that with such massive immigrations you're not importing only the people, but the culture also. And since this culture is highly hostile to the values of the west, it's going to be a recipe for disaster.
