So then Barack Obama has declaered "I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our
first two years against any president — with the possible exceptions of
Johnson, F.D.R., and Lincoln — just in terms of what we’ve gotten done
in modern history". He says his accomplishments are even better than that of George Washington and Ronald Reagen, so heares a list of his acomplishments: Borrowed money from China and donated it to China, Increased the federal deficet tremendosly even more than Bush, Increased unemployment a very large amount, suported the wall street protests. So heares my opinion on Obama. I think that he needs to stop wasting Americas money and not call himself the fourth greatest President I mean realy the wall street protests arent helping any one and theare wasting tax payer dollars. But thats just my opinion.

Patrick_Kosick, while I agree that Obama's leadership has been lacking in almost every way imaginable, I think you should take your role as founder of this group a bit more seriously. You should also spell-check your articles.

According to the NRA, Obama wants to do away with the Second Amendment. His administration was partially responsible for Operation Fast and Furious, where the government was selling weapons to Mexican drug dealers as part of a sting that went really, really wrong.

Obama is either a puppet and doesn't really know what he's doing or he knows full well what he's doing. Either way he's corrupt. He makes promises and doesn't keep them and has a habit of lying out his... backside. Sounds an awful lot like a certain angel that thought he could challenge God. And we all know how that worked out. lol

effectively this is nothing more than a group of haters...while i don't believe Obama has been whats best for America i still don't see the need for u guys to make a political group on moddb just to hate about him...if there was a group on moddb that supported Obama then perhaps u could have a debate about whatever American affairs currently taking place...but for the time being there isn't actually a purpose for this group...not in my eyes anyway.

@ yuribeat5 thats a horrible reference to make at a person regardless of who ur aiming it at whether it Hitler or Bin Laden its a horrible comment to make....feel ashamed of urself kid....

Im honestly rather confused why I've been invited to this group, the nationality for my profile clearly says im British -sigh- i think I've said my bit.....

First of all, I'm not a "kid". I'm 23 years old going on 24 and I know a heck of a lot about the crap going on in this world. You're 14 and yet you call me a kid. Second, why should I be ashamed to speak the truth? I don't care what people think, all I care about is the truth, no matter how brutal it is. Thirdly, I can't believe you just defended Hitler and Osama Bin Laden. Maybe you should be ashamed hmm?

Well, Patrick has a lot of steam to let off about Obama. But I don't think you understand the point of this group: to discuss conservative/right wing politics. I'm writing an article currently on conservatism in Austrialian politics. Group of haters? Would you explain that, please, 501st-veteran?

Hmm...fair enough but then again right/wrong politics is a matter of opinion/perspective, some kind of discussion/debate/argument whatever u want to call it would be better rather than looking at a single narrow-minded view and all agreeing to it...i mean no offense to your political beliefs...

Group of haters is simply my current opinion and is nothing u should take to heart... Im British but i do know a fair amount about current American affairs so leave me be, just merely giving my opinion and a lil rivalry to the group so at least some kind of understanding can b gained...as this is a political based group for the conservatives and i believe there isn't one for Obama i think my intervention can b fairly reasonable...

If u want me out of the group to maintain the biased and intolerant superiority i will leave...to b nice and political u can even do a vote whether or not i should b kicked out

This is weird. This is a political group. Don't you understand the various political groupings? Ultraconservative, conservative, moderate, liberal, ultra-liberal, progressive, anarchist, etcetera and so forth. Maybe we've all gotten off on the wrong foot? Obama is regarded as Liberal, perhaps even Socialist, by conservates. Liberals regard him as a moderate.

To make things even more confusing, the largest conservative party in Australia is called 'The Liberal National Party'.

This has been taken out of context and distorted.

"The issue here is not going be a list of accomplishments. As you said yourself, Steve, you know, I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president — with the possible exceptions of Johnson, F.D.R., and Lincoln — just in terms of what we’ve gotten done in modern history. But, you know, but when it comes to the economy, we’ve got a lot more work to do."

THAT is what he said. "against any president" - not *above*. In no way does he indicate that he's the 4th greatest president. He's saying his administrations achievements could hold their own against others but that there's still more that needs to be done. Much more modest than how you chose to present it if indeed you even bothered to find and watch/read the original source material.

Don't bother apologizing, rectify the mistake. Despite now knowing it's incorrect you've left it there. It'd take less than thirty seconds to edit out the '4th greatest president' nonsense.

I don't give a rat's about Obama, but there's no reason to continue displaying false information about him. It's a well known fact that media in America is basically useless for determining truth. Soundbites and quote mines are used by media left, right and center. You need to find the original full interviews or full transcripts before quoting people to make sure you don't distort what they're saying. Sometimes that's going to mean watching a full 60 minute long video of someone you don't like to make sure they've actually said what you heard. Well that's tough luck.

I don't think it was deliberate either. The problem I was highlighting is that liberals go to liberal media, conservatives go to conservative media, etc etc. These media outlets only serve to further divide people. They dichotomise complex issues and deliberately attempt to provoke people. It's pathetic.

Often times stories provoke so much vitriol and outrage that a verbal brawl breaks out long before anyone bothers to check whether the story is actually true or not - this isn't just an issue with teenagers. Most people are interested in validating their views, not challenging them. But I'm not suggesting cons visit lib sites and vice versa - I think we need to circumvent these funnels of (mis)information and search the sources ourselves. Oh, and I don't use social media, it disgusts me... ;)

What a short list of complaints with little to no detail.

Now me, a person who's views sway between Socialist and Anarchist on a regular basis, would never vote for Obama. The man's far too conservative in practice and speaks little truth in his speeches.

Ironic eh? Most of you probably know the fictional character of Obama, the evil community organizer who wants to destroy freedom, capitalism, or whatever it is the insane corporate puppets are saying right now.

Personally I can't be bothered voting for anyone in a bought system, if there was a liberal Ron Paul, someone who is honest, then I'd vote for them. But Bernie Sanders is not running for president so Not Committed is getting my vote if I bother to vote at all.

Not Committed 2012
