There were plenty of Catholics during and after the medieval era who contributed to the scientific community. I just get tired of the narrative pushed by certain atheists these days who like to play it off as religion being opposed to scientific progress.
At some point even they would have to admit the necessity of spirituality in the face of such corrupting nihilism. If we placed all our faith in men with labcoats, where would be? A utopia? We trusted men in business suits with our governments. Men with degrees from pristine universities and educations. Look at the mess we're all in today between the EU and USA. The United Nations even finds itself stagnant in solving world crisis.
You think science will solve all these things? The purpose of a good scientific pursuit is to improve the human condition. But not all improvements are of the scientific nature. Some are spiritual, until you're willing to admit that there's nothing for us to discuss.
Anything that Man or Woman makes if is not in accordance to God , it will always backfire , fail or get nowhere far
Lesson learned so many times
And the most important thing is to never allow morals and ethics to be crossed , neither allow some sides to gain too much advantage over others like the big corporations
