The reason why I could never be atheist. Believing that matter and energy "created itself" is simply laughable, next to this impossibility having no evidence, a theist could easily respond by saying that God "came from nothing" (instead of being eternal as the unmoved mover argument states).
I have little respect for Richard Dawkins; As a human being I find him detestable, (Him being a proponent of mandatory abortion of children with serious mental disabilities) and in his arguments I find him a hypocrite, (Him quoting the Koran even though he himself said he's never read it.) It is people like him that give atheists such a bad name.
Of other note; I wasn't familiar with the science behind creationism before reading the book "The Case for Faith." Very good read, I'd suggest it to anyone.
