This is something you really need to drill into your head as a believer. There can't be any exception. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world. The desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions. Is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

Do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable, and perfect.

It's a lifelong journey, don't expect to get it all right in but a moment. For the believer, life is a great trial, testing, testing, and testing. The ultimate goal is too sift out the chaff and leave only the wheat. As for judging others, that's between them and the Lord their struggles. If you're a Godly person then you'll help them. Whether that's through prayer, counsel, or even just being a friend. It is afterall your duty to help your bothers and sisters.

We do not pray for the destruction nor damnation of others like the heathens do. Such a thing is contrary to all the Lord Jesus Christ taught. As well as contrary to the great commission we'd been given so long ago. If your heart knows the Lord, this will ring true. Man is vulgar, deceptive, and desperately wicked. But you must remember, you yourself are one such man and if not for that amazing grace would be damned as well. God can change men's hearts, you just have to be willing. Let go, and let God.
