Description
This is the fed up menu screen for red alert i have been getting funny colors both ingame and on the cutscenes i don't know how this happened or why but i tryed reinstalling, didn't do shit. Its really annoying and i need help to fix it.
Which version did you have? The 1st decade or itself? I had this probelm too, i patched 1st decade version to 1.03.

Thank you i think 1.03 might fix it. i have 1.02
Compatibility mode usually fixed what few glitches I had, but that was on Vista. No idea about Win 7 yet.
This thing happens to me many time when I play starcraft or any old games..
The easiest way to solve this is press Alt+Tab while your playing RA1, exit(not quitting the game but back to windows..) and press the game button at the bottom bar to enter the game back and DONE! The colors are back to normal. :)

I have the same problem. Not that bad, but still looks fail. :/
I hate these new massively bugged Operating Systems with no backwards compatibility... always some random gimmick to hamper gamers and modders or someone who is simply trying to get some important work done.
If it ain't broke... don't fix it!
I will conclude with that because that's all I can say at this point.

lol, have you tried it on other computer? if the results are same, then it's your game copy problem. ask the store to exchange it with another copy.
that error appear on WIn7 ,lol, on vista and xp works fine :D
i know this is old but if you checked here is what to do:
When in the menu press alt control delete then go to task manager, go to proccesses and end explorer.exe then alt tab back to the game and your fine after your done enter task manager again go to TASKS and click new task type Explorer.exe and your back to windows :) hope this helps you!
