Well, makes sence, since USA went to isolationism after ZH
This can't be the EU since the Chinese took over and formed Euro-Asia or something like that, I hope they add the Russians, South America and Africa as either factions or as places to fight in since the GLA is running out of places to hide.
IDK, US might have gone "screw isolation" and went back on business as usual
EU and China might have broken the alliance, probably because EU saw that Chinese weren't the benevolent faction they thought they were.
Or EU finally grew balls and decided to get **** done.

Maybe it could be Eurasian Union ?
But the logo don't seems to be an European Union logo... It remember me UNO's logo
Maybe the EU joint forces with the USA to form a superfaction and take on China, the de-facto leader of the world since the last war, while GLA is using its forces around the world to stop both of the two superpowers from emerging victorious. Maybe, it's just me.

Damn, I'd like a game with more than 4 factions, maybe 6, it'd be much more intriguing, but since the RTS industry is not ready for that yet, i'll have to wait a few years for that to heppen. :D
the problem with too many distinct factions for competitive gameplay is hard to balance. there must be at least faction(s) that overcome the others, or maybe doesn't have chance to fight much, even the balance have been patched so many time.
3rd one might be China/Russia/U.S.A These are the only ones that can conquer them.
In other words, the third faction will be NEITHER China nor the USA. The USA went to isolation in the ZH GLA campaign and China might have left Europe or they are one transcontinental faction now. Either way it cannot be China, otherwise it would not be a secret.
One of the most contestet and most wanted factions is and remains Russia, just judging from the amount of Russia-themed Gens mods. We can rule out anything but South Africa in... Africa. Especially with the GLA representing the middle east and North Africa and having a lot of support there.
It could be a faction compromised of South American states, maybe under the leadership of Brazil or Chile. Another possibility is India, which wasn't features in many stories but they have similar tech and amount of manpower as China. Other possibilities are a complete Asian army. Japan as a single power is unlikely, since in RL their military is heavily dated and only recently they took the approach to develop new hardware. Besides, they already debuted in RA3.
Going with that, there aren't any other strong militaries in Asia except the Koreas, and even they wouldn't do much difference because their amount of ressources and manpower has been heavily wasted over the last decades and are simply not comparable to the likes as Europe, China, the Russian Federation or the USA.
i hope the third faction is the Norwegian Empire :3
