I didn't put Renegade (made in 2002) there because it's not strategy C&C, but still it's damn fun game.

what is so bad about the bottom bar?
the tiberian war series is supposed to have a side bar in the UI, and as for all C&C games (except generals).

I like population cap ^^
actually population cap is okay and can be used to add the depth of the gameplay, if used correctly. but CNC4 doing it wrong.
I didn't say I like C&C4's Population cap system :P! but I like Pop cap to proventing mass spams of units, but maybe thats what C&C is all about, mass unit spam. I still like it in some games though! (like warhammer 40k Dawn of War)

TD - The uncle of all RTS games. Great game.
TS - I was so damn awsome. TS have the best cut cenes and story (TS not Firestorm !).
TW/KW - Good game. TW is "TD in 3D". It is still one of my fav C&C.

TD was he father of RTS, it started RTS with the meaning it has today, because of it RTS still exists and hasnt passed on to other game types
TS is one of the best games ever, some would say the best C&C or even the best RTS to date. i just think its one of the best games ever to come out
TW\KW, i though i was the only one who though that TW was actually a re-imagination of TD, but looks like more ppl believe that too. TW\KW is actually one of the best RTS, or even general type games to come out in the decade that passed (2000-2009) and a personal favorite to me. its mods also give this one a long extra time to live.
well, TT is not a really bad game, but its not good either. the absence of a credit system gives ppl the opportunity to mindlessly spam as much units as possible, taking out a lot of fun from the game. its only mode becomes very boring after a while too, much more than the classic C&C mode. its reallity factor is much lower than any other C&C game too. also, things like the pop cap and progression system which are really bad could have been avoided by adding resource gathering and more skirmish options like locking tech tree. also, if u want to play a C&C, dont even try to play it, its not C&C, its something else labelled "C&C"
I think that you should use another image for C&C3.
P.S.: I´m crazy or C&C"4" have worse graphycs than C&C3?
I don't think it's worse graphics, it's just that the overall style is stupid and makes it seem so.
But I've never played it so I wouldn't know.
Seriously though, who the hell did EA listen too when they made CnC 4?
I can't imagine any fan of the series actually wanted that, who the hell came up with it and who approved it based on whose opinion? How did it make it through the selection process? Did EA listen to the community at all?
in fact, in TT, terrain is a lot worse than TW, and the maps look like some new guy on mapping made em, i make better maps imo. also the models are detailed, but are too smooth, making the whole scene worse. its also the not realistic effects of trhe game and map options which are bad too.
PS: shpuldnt u use the "" on C&C and not 4?
CnC4 Just lost the sense of the tiberium with no tib fields and no buildings. i hope that instead of an expansion for it they will release something like tib wars with better graphics and animations.
