Here's the cover of the PC Gamer Holiday 1996 issue featuring an exclusive first review of Command & Conquer Red Alert. Here we have a very nice resolution render of a Heavy Tank getting shot to hell, composed by Chris Demers.

Indeed
Holy ****, I used to buy one PC-Gamer magazine whenever I could(Not as often as I wish).
Damn how reading those and playing the CD game they came with was fun, well this of course was in the times before the fast broadband internet.
But the internet cannoit be matched with the excitement provided by the smell of real paper of a magazine and the sounds of it.
I had a pile of those magazines, when i was a kid, almost all my games were from magazines, 40% PC Gamer, 50% CD Expert(if im not mistaken) and 10% others
