Except their suffering and persecution after their expulsion from the land was prophesied by God. It was meant to be and couldn't have happened any other way. It also provided motivation to prevent such atrocities from happening again and caused the Hebrew people as well as other peoples to band together again. Sounds like a negative being used to create a positive.
So it was prophesied, so it's ok, right?

I mean, those people in camp were surely devout and pray for it to stop happening. In this point of view, god failed.

Its called a trial by ordeal. All believers go through it at one point in their lives. Some fail and some pass. Its a test to see where our heart truly lies. Job was/is the perfect example of a trial by ordeal. He passed, the Jew who wrote this message failed.

Lol, if God is almighty and all-powerful, he could just skip the negative and go right to the positive.
But for you to say what you just did proves that Religion can easily take away a person's morality and care for other human beings and instead turn them into uncaring monsters, as long as "God is on your side".

So we should still praise and worship God even though that is not a guarantee for even a livable life in this world? And how do we know that Heaven is not just a larger version of a concentration camp?
