When one compares Atheism and Satanism they/we aren't talking about the Devil worshiping Satanism, but the modern Satanism that denies the Devil's existence also and just seeks out to "be the best sinners they can possibly be" as one of them actually said. Modern Satanism actually is a form of Atheism, they just deliberately seek out evil and seek to do evil things in order to garner selfish pleasure at the expense of others. The original form of Satanism does this too, but add burning down churches, ritual orgies/blood drinking, and actual Devil worship. Modern Satanism is a sect of it's host religion of the same name.

Atheism - believe that there is no God (nothing more, it's simple as that)
Satanism (LaVey) - believe that everyone is God to his own, that every desire should be satisfied. I would not call this EVIL or seek to do EVIL things... I would say word "egocentrism", but egocentrism doesn't mean evil.
You call them atheist because they don't believe in God? So Buddhists are atheists too?
Please do research on Satanism before trying to spout definitions at me.
Look up "Theistic Satanism", "Luciferianism", "Palladists", "Our Lady of Endor Coven", "LaVeyan Satanism", "Atheistic Satanism", and "Casual Satanism".

I even had project about Satanism when I was in secondary school. Satanism IS NOT atheism just like Buddhism and any other religion without God. End of story.
Having a project about it does not make you knowledgeable about Satanism. Thats like asserting that eating glue and playing with sprinkles in pre-school or kindergarten makes you knowledgeable in fine art.

He's right Yuri. Modern Satanism follows the belief that man is responsible to no one, and that every desire, emotion, and feeling can be both allowed and justified. Atheism is simply the denial of a higher power. While some Satanists are also atheists, it doesn't mean they're the same, just like some Christians are also bigoted jerks. (hint hint)
You need to stop calling yourself a bigoted jerk. We already know its true, you don't need to keep reminding everybody. At least I try to follow God's Commandments instead of just picking out what I like and discarding the rest. I USED TO be a bigoted jerk like you, claiming to be a Christian while at the same time not reading my Bible nor actually practicing my faith. After becoming Messianic and actually learning (something not done in Church)I have realized how messed up Christianity is and how polluted your doctrine has become over the millenia. You people give the best evidence that Yeshua is NOT the Messiah when Judaism actually has the best evidence that He IS! Obviously he is. Both groups are backwards and mixed up.
