Christians always attacking atheism like "Anything cannot be created from nothing". But in this fact denies also religion. Why? Atheism have no fixed ideology how universe was made. It only says there is no god. But it doesn't mean that atheists believe that there was nothing and then everything. But Christianity says that there is God, who created the universe. But if anything cannot be created from nothing (and that's true), who created God? I mean God also cannot be created from nothing.

Don't even bother. I tried that arguement and they just replied "He is timeless" and "He is infinate" or whatever, claiming he never was created by something or whatever.

Apparently God exsists out of time, outside of our dimension and reality (or whatever lol) and that allows him to have escaped being created by something. And they say our theories are illogical xD.

God alone? Ok, it can be one of those theories. Why not. Faith? Well, irrational, but people's choice. But churches are like plague.

That response annoys me to an absurd degree. The simple truth is that we have no way of knowing- it's just as likely that the universe is 'infinite' as a God is 'infinite'.

That is simply not correct. We already know how the universe started.

We don't really "know". The Big Bang is a popular theory because it explains both expansion and the background radiation. But we don't know much about the beginning of the universe because it dates back to a time when our galaxy didn't even exist and it's something we can't even imagine the scale of.

For what we know, we can't see over 14B light-years away, which means either something happened 14B years ago or there is something there.

Lovecraft, anyone ?
