This however Is what they really looked lie. We know htat because Viking sometimes burried there dead together with their ships, and that's what we've found.

(We is us humans)

One burial method was to have a rich lord's treasures piled on his boat, then his body in full armor atop the treasures, then they put his wife on, sent the boat out and lit it on fire. So yes, they buried their dead with their ships. ;)

Description

These are the first trans-atlantic ships in the history of mankind, the keel was positioned very shallow meaning it could sail deep up shallow rivers and gave them very high speed, but low cargo hold. Thanks to this ship the Vikings conquered Normans conquered the coast of France (hence the name Normandie) and the Brittish Islands.

They also went deep into eastern europe (what we call Russia) and together with the Slavs (which I may point out was the only people the Vikings didn't disrespect) they populated Russia.
