it is impossible to focus the mirrors effectively (especially against a moving ship). They who recreated it made 3 errors. 1 the boat was immobile, 2 it was on dry land, 3 they used modern mirrors which are 3 times more effective.

Stop spreading these lies, you have no idea what you're talking about.

and you think scientific Archimedes fanboys are better? They just want to prove that it was possible, they want it to succeed, and I know, you can't trust scientist. That's why something becoms a fact when someone else have copied your study and gets the same result, which they didn't.

Watch Mythbusters and you'll see why it's so impratical, they really nailed this myth HARD, crushed every argument.

lol Why the hell would archimedes bother with mirrors, when all he ould have needed was some wood and Rope to make a device simpler and easier to make, The Balista or a catapult, either would have worked, Not to mention that until 700 AD, in all historical documents their is no mention of mirrors

Archimedes invented that stuff. and guess what. IT WORKED. modern scientists prooved with experiments that this was possible. also, he made many more weapons but the fire in the bibliothek of alexandria and the romans destroyed most of the documents.
