I'm not really sure this is a long boat, looks more like a merchant ship. Longboats where Long, thins and had almost flat bottoms.

Description

These are the first trans-atlantic ships in the history of mankind, the keel was positioned very shallow meaning it could sail deep up shallow rivers and gave them very high speed, but low cargo hold. Thanks to this ship the Vikings conquered Normans conquered the coast of France (hence the name Normandie) and the Brittish Islands.

They also went deep into eastern europe (what we call Russia) and together with the Slavs (which I may point out was the only people the Vikings didn't disrespect) they populated Russia.
