Description
Definitely you recognize this hero. It is a further modification of MI-24 Hind. Heavy assault-transport helicopter. Passangers - 8 men, capacity - inside - 1500 kg, outside - 2400 kg. Max speed - 310 km/h, crew - 2 members.
Weaponry: controlled rockets 9М114, 9М120, 9М120F up to 8 units, uncontrolled rockets S-8, cal. 80 mm - up to 80 units, S-13, cal. 122 mm - up to 20 units, gun container with double cannon cal. 23 mm - 2 containers, mounted rotating cannon device with gun cal. 23 mm (450-470 shells).

Exactly. It happened to one of export versions of MI-24. Do not remember exact country but it's government asked russian specialists to strengthen copter from inside and outside. Russian side was surprised with such a request (whereto more?!!). But they explained that during a transport operation one idiot was playing with a grenade. I guess you understand what happened to this juggler and his audience? :) But nevertheless pilot didn't got any injury and without any hindrance brought copter to the airfield in one piece :)
