Description
Initially i thought it was a comanche but it looks slightly different.

its a type of Comanche!! with its bay doors open!
I thought so, it's just that it has no tail rotor.
it has one, you just don't see it due to angle

Haven't you ever heard of NOTAR (NO Tail Rotor) helicopters?

NOTAR on military helicopter? It must be agile and NOTAR seems to be somehow passive, while tail rotor helps you to turn around.
helicopter with no tail rotor is OK so long as it has another set of blades on top of the main set of blades spinning in the opposite direction to prevent it from spinning.
KA-50 has double blades in place of a tail rotor for example.
It has fenestron instead...
cool, the US air force canclled the commanche, that the us army was making, the got a phryotpe, but it was not need because of the existance of the apach and cold war ended.
also, it was an army project and got canncelled by the air force. :(
