I doubt that, really...
It's a result of Alundaio's AI scripting, happens in Pripyat Reborn, too. NPCs stand up from sitting, turn around, and sit back down. Only other sitting glitch I've found is actually map-related (Sokolov's chair in Zulu's tower sometimes isn't present, so he's sitting on air)
