This is update is only a preview to the next update that the game will have. It is going to be a very, very large update and will take a great deal of...
Vanden is a RPG game where the player begins with searching for a piece of the Tetracalx. The Tetracalx is a sacred stone to the eight in control of the elements. The Tetracalx is said to be a medium of immense power, and as such has been the desired treasure of rulers, criminals, and the common people. Upon searching for the piece of the Tetracalx, however, the player is faced by a mage, sealed from the world over 30 decades prior. This encounter veers the player's course far off from the intended objective into a length journey through the land of Amerys.
Thank you for your continued interesting in my game,
This week is a pretty small update, as it is part of a much much bigger update, but it's not very polished since it is going to be such a big change once it is done. This week's update is not the completed change, but rather it is more of a progress update, since there hasn't been a demo release in a while.
First up this week, as shown in news update two weeks ago, the screen has been enlarged to be 640x480 rather than the smaller, 544x416 one. This caused some graphical glitches, most of which were fixed, however an issue with the battlebacks was found, and until they are fixed they will be replaced.
Next is the options menu. It was mentioned two week ago, but it wasn’t anywhere near being finished (and it still isn’t, as I can think of some things to add to it). Now it will at least let you get a glimpse of how it will likely look. As always, feedback on the design of components is appreciated.
And now the cooking menu is finally complete! In fact, it is complete two times. There are currently two different layouts that you can select to use for the cooking menu. How do you select which one to use? The options menu has that setup for you. That’s currently the main function (only) function of the options menu.
Also I changed the title screen again. I think this one looks a little bit better, personally, but it still could get a lot more improved. I'll work on it sometime.
