Welcome to a world that knows no mercy — none is received, and none is given. Only physical and mental agility can keep you alive, though they are by no means a guarantor of life. You play the role of Geralt, an already legendary monster-slayer — but this, my friend, is not a gift, and is certainly not given lightly. “The Witcher” is an immense computer game. Within its realm, you will have to assume the burden of choice. And this burden of choice, as light as it may appear, is the very thing that will both permit you to wield influence over the fate of the world, as well as get you slain prematurely.

About Witcher 2: Alternate Endings with 35 comments by INtense! on May 6th, 2011

Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (preorder now) follows Geralt of Rivia with the game culminating in any one of sixteen possible endings. Since we figured sixteen possible endings isn't enough, we challenge you to come up with your own for a chance to win a kick-ass Alienware laptop. All you need to do is design your own ending featuring Geralt and/or Triss, with them integrated into a famous moment in history. Here are some ideas to help get you started:

Alienware Prize Provider

  • Geralt blocking Michael Jordan in the closing seconds of an NBA finals game
  • Geralt joining the lolcat revolution or maybe photobombing a picture
  • Geralt taking out Bin Laden

Anyone can participate and win, programmers included... elite graphic skills are not required in this competition, just a good sense of humor and an awesome picture from history with Geralt and/or Triss in it. Draw it in MSPaint or crayons if you must.

How to Enter

  1. Read the full competition details
  2. Download an image of Geralt or Triss to use (or make your own).
  3. If you are not already a member of Mod DB sign up
  4. When your entry is complete, upload it to the image gallery here along with a description
  5. You can enter as many times as you want, so get those creative juices flowing and be sure to join in the work in progress forum discussion

Best of luck competitors, you have until the deadline below hits 0 to get your entry in!

The best RPG ever made. Amazing world, characters, locations, monsters, story everything in this game is epic. Books are great too. Andrzej Sapkowski is good writer like John Ronald Reuel Tolkien.

LOVED this game and still loving it,its "moral" system is the only one that really works. Also combat is real good. (The game´s engine is NWN2´s and still they managed to make an extremely original combat system)

I decided to try this title out awhile back and I was kind of liking it at first until I got into combat. The combat system is hardly my cup of tea.

A lot of people don't like this game because this game needs skills to play (ex:flaming sword)
