Most bosses go down in a few hits of the knife, specially if you knock them down and rush them.
Late as ****, trust me I know.
But Bloodbuff, Potence, and pure fists (if you leveled up unarmed) can do a fuckload more damage than one could with even a weapon. I tried it on a run through as Brujah, and I pulverized that blood-construct when you slash the paintings.
