- Larger than your average DM-Map
- Try to shoot your foes into the reactor (relatively easy using Shock Rifle or RL, but
also possible with Ripper and Flak, tho harder)
- The Map makes use of dynamic lighting. If the map does not run smooth enough, try turning
off dynamic lighting to gain a big fps boost in some places.
- You may look to the statue that shows the leader (Note: Skeletal Meshes pawns like BP4-Pawns
aren't displayed). The statue is located on the upper floor of the South Yard.
- There are spots with excessive Polycounts above 500, but I only noticed one or two
so far.
- Getting SuperItems alarms all players that the item has been gotten with triggered special sounds.
- Styx - that is the Greek River of Hate, that separates the world of the living and the
world of the dead. I found it fitting because that facility has become a special place
of hate, just like a river flows and changes itself and sometimes people visiting it,
Styx Reactor has changed from a power plant of the peaceful worlds into a sanctuary
of the Insane, a last resort of hope that was lost, a place of hate.
- StyxReactor.u was scripted by Wolf. Without him, the small trap would have been impossible to create.
- This map was made for milb's FragsOfTime Package.
- However, this release has some minor lighting bugs hopefully
killed (I didn't do as much betatesting as I did when originally creating the map)
- I also revamped the lighting as the old one looked horrible with all its sharp cuts.
