The Undead is a first-person, open world game centering on fighting mutant creatures that were affected by a man-made virus that had swiped across the Earth 10 years ago and to survive in a post-apocalyptic world using resources available widely across the world.
A virus that was made by Pangea Enhanced Soldier Corp (PEn), in a secret lab located near the Arctic Circle. Originally purposed to create Super-Enhanced Super Soldiers but the virus had a side-effect the didn't know. Soon the virus had infected nearly every personnel through out the complex.
TheUndead has many kind of features and is set in a first-person perspective.
Weapons - You need weapons to fight the creatures lurking around the world right..Trading - Trade with other people, get better weapons and resources but be careful, the might fool you.
We've self-funded the project so far and have reached an Early Alpha stage. Large sections of the game are already built and functioning, though not yet at the point they could be reliably used by players. We've also been chatting with the gamers around the community, canvassing them for ideas about how to improve gameplay and what kind of features they'd like to see added. Or in some cases removed. So far it's been a really useful discussion.
The present schedule is a conservative one so as to ensure we can deliver things on time and not be too thrown out by unforeseen setbacks.
We appreciate your interest in seeing what TheUndead has to offer. We’re really proud of it and want to share it with as many people as possible. All contributions are welcome, even if it’s just passing on our info to an interested friend. We rely on people like you to help get the word out, and tell you friends! We will be making frequent updates throughout the campaign with new videos, screenshots, additions to the stretch goals, partnership announcements, FAQs, and more. So don’t forget to check back in from time to time to see what’s new. We’ve got some pretty cool stuff lined up.
Yes the dead has risen, we've finally found a formula to bring back the dead. The full formula will be released in April...
In this 3rd progress report, we've created our own AI since a the options available didn't meet our requirements. A few bugs here and there but it works. A video will be posted on Youtube showcasing the AI soon. We've also improved the map with new buildings and more liveness.
Also we've upgraded to Unity5 Beta which means the game will be getting better and better...
The graphics has been improved alot since the last update. These are realtime screenshots in-game. Some says the graphics are similar to Battlefield...
We've also decided to release this game on every PC platform available on the market. Including Linux... Yay! We might also be releasing TheUndead on console soon but that should be in another article.
Alright, that's it for now. See you later.
And you thought it was dead... Yup, it's not dead yet. More new features coming your way...

The Latest Update in The Undead. We bring you many new features like multiplayer and more.
TheUndead Alpha 2 Release. A new update has been released... Update changelog is in description.
An early alpha with a few core features implemented to show how the world works and some of the progress.
Created a new spawn system. Now spawns based on number of objects in scene, this reduces some load on cpu (I think). Also will be researching a way to release content packs after the game is released, AssetBundles are the main option now... Also based on some comments by people from the unity community, game updates will be available to download in game and while playing.
New game options screen also allow users to either increase or decrease graphics quality, set fullscreen, and choose between deferred or forward lighting paths (+ the typical game options too). Player models + animations needs to be improved, so that needs a bit time as I don't have the software yet. Need to rework on decals as when you shoot, the decals just falls off (Unity5 error). Polish the AI some more for better pathfinding, player detection through visual and sound, movement and attacking.
This will be the preparations for the Beta release this April... Stay tune for more updates.
Testing Pathfinding for zombies, seems to move in a small area. Performance are good, 60+fps on i5 2.3Ghz, 4Gb Ram, Nvidia 840M laptop. Moved on to Linear lighting to test it's capabilities. Still no storyline.
Inventory system fully integrated, weather system fully integrated, AI Pathfinding system fully integrated. No progress on multiplayer yet. Need to improve main menu.
Rest are good. Stay tuned for more updates...
tis game is Nice GOOD

the question that nobody had ever asked before... i'm between...
can i run this game on 256MB VRAM with Shaders Model 2.0 ?
