just to make it clear-you can get attacked while staying in one place similiarly to how you got ambushed when moving in the original campaign?
Yes, anything can happen at any time (battle, dialogue, shop, etc.) just like an ambush when traveling, with the addition that sometimes you can back out of it a.k.a. loosing that opportunity (not in the case of this image).
