I'm sure everyone's been in that situation where they're being hunted down by none less than 8 enemy heroes..... wait a minute - that never happens!
What more, these ones belong to the neutral player!

Is this part of a quest or something, like 8 heroes just spawn and try to kill you, but if you beat them you get a reward?
Something like that. We actually have plans for a new quest condition exactly as you described. It didn't make the cut for 0.8.7 due to the complexity of how it would work and that we had already put a lot of effort into the quests this version, so it was pushed back for a later version.
But nonetheless, the above picture is indeed related to quests.
