It is 10 years after Kyle Katarn's victory over Jerec and the Dark Jedi. Even after a decade, the Empire and New Republic war continues. It is a crucial time for the Republic to strike. Rumors of an internal struggle between the Emperor and the dark Jedi prodigy Ratik suggest an opportune moment for the Republic to divide the forces of the Imperial Order. The Emperor has been known to dispatch two dark Jedi, Lord Sceadu Moor and his minion Onyx, to capture Ratik and bring him back to face his crimes of treason.
This is an ambitious Jedi Knight map called To Rule an Empire. It was meant to start a trilogy but no further sequels were released. It features a detailed story and cutscenes.

New Cutscenes : Yes, this is probably the only thing I'm really REALLY happy with.
* Construction *
Base : New level from scratch
Editor(s) used : JED v. 81
Known Bugs : 1) When the music changes, the screen freezes.(This has to do with CD-ROM access time).
2) In an older version, the door switch didn't change color. The door is open however.
3) Someone told me they saw covered up text during one of the cutscenes. I'm
not sure what this refers to but if this happens to you too, please email me.
4) SAVING! Any level saved during the cutscene cannot be revived. I tried
reloading during one of the cutscenes and it didn't work. You can save during
the regular level (Level 1 - Betrayal).
Also if you load a saved level, sometimes the Force powers and the Force power menu
looks funny or doesn't work. This happens to many add-on levels. If you load the
level again, the forcepowers and the menu will return as normal.
5) Someone mentioned to me that if you hit CTRL or F1 during the cutscenes you can
jump into the cutscene studio where the actors are playing their parts. I've
tried this to no avail. If it happens, email me.
