Call of Pripyat takes you once again into the vicinity of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor that exploded in 1986. This so-called "Zone" is a highly contaminated area cordoned off by the military and now is combed through by the so-called stalkers, modern fortune hunters, in search of unique artifacts. In the role of Agent Alexander Degtyarev, who is dressed up as stalker, you have to investigate the mysterious disappearance of five military helicopters and thereby stand one’s ground against the various stalker groups.
Graphic addon for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat. These are the very first steps of the project, so it's just a SweetFX settings with a really simple custom shader for Chromatic Aberration. Currently, there are some issues I need to fix, but I'm releasing this just because isn't a first priority project right now, and it may took a while to complete. I'm aiming to a more deep graphics, for full immersion into the game's atmosphere, as with Lomokan for Grand Theft Auto IV. It's highly recommended use it along with Atmosfear 3.
Details?
Well, for the moment it only modifies colouring, shadows and add a new effect (Chromatic Aberration). It has no "bloom" effect whatsoever.
It's just a SweetFX settings right now (SweetFX it's a mod by CeeJay.dk for customize colouring and other basic graphic aspects of the game). But I have in mind enhance the current graphics with more custom shaders and, if needed, with an ENB injector.
ENB will not be compatible unless Boris the coder of ENB, recodes it for the new Xray engines, even the StalkerSHoC ENB doesn't work on DirextX 9 mode for the new engines.
SweetFX is simply put, Colour Correction that isn't post
Yeah, I figured that out. So I'll have to wait, or make some hard coding into the original game files.
Waiting will end up taking a lifetime and a half. So reverse engineering is the only option
I will try it, but, I need to donwload something more (SweetFX package or similar) or just these files (well, the dx10 subfolder in my case) extracted in cop folder?
Everything you need it's included in the package (SweetFX files too). You only need to copy it's content to the Call of Pripyat root folder.
I had been using for a while with "The Way To Pripyat". Just endend the mod, some caps:

Will try with Misery, I think this will works very well with!
Great screencaps! I have "The Way to Pripyat" files, but never tried it. It is good?
It's a nice mod, sometimes VERY nice, sometime, simply nice.
It contains nice amount of new weapons and new npc models, imported from other games.
It has some bugs, so I had to watch a youtube walktrought in two points, but it's stable.
Still prefer the more "deadly" and "difficult battles" in the way on Misery, but history in The Way Of Pripyat" ... joins well on STALKER series :)
It was some "glitches" in the ENG translation and miss some more "history" behind, but nice events there :D
So, btw, you will make ENB also? I haven't found any good ENB for COP. There are many work on SOC (ENB and new shaders) but not for COP. You will combine SweetFX+ENB?
Yes, that's what I had in mind, but when I tried with the official SoC ENB, I haven't got any changes, like the ENB wasn't even there.
I can think that has something to do with the kind of rendering used in X-Ray engine. I could manipulate original shader files, but that will mean getting into a more technical field, and I haven't proper knowledge for that kind of work (yet), so I cannot promise anything.
So. Many. CROWS!

Fix? Win 10 Pro.
Hello, Warezz.K!
I think it may be a bad reference in the SweetFX injector, since it was created way before Windows 10.
Perhaps downloading a new version of SweetFX could help, but I don't think it will behave correctly.
I'm trying to get this reshade to work correctly but I'm stumped. Everything seemed fine but everything is too bright. I read the read me and said to use the DX10/11 folder which I thought I did so I re-installed with the correct files. Still too bright. I check my options and it's using Direct X 9 (enhanced). There is no option for DX 10 or 11. I tried to force DX 11 by editing the user file to use R4 renderer but it still boots the game into DX9. Taking the reshade mod off and the options for DX 10 / 11 return. Any idea how to fix this? I'm using Windows 10 pro.
Hello! I believe it may be a conflict with Windows 10, as more people told me about having problems with that particular OS.
Since I never used Windows 10, I couldn't help you out with this specific problem.
I'm very sorry!
