Well, I am checking the files that I have uploaded to this ModDB website and the files that I have uploaded to the Mediafire website: and I do not see errors or changes.
Files uploaded to Mediafire, (parts 4 and 5 of the HD texture pack), each weighs more than 1GB; and I downloaded them again and they are fine.
The text file that I shared here, on this same page, only contains the download links of such two files that are in Mediafire; It only weighs less than 2 KB ... and this text file can be opened with the Windows Notepad program. The Wordpad program may not work well, and less will work if you try to open the compressed * .rar files with it ...
Anyway, to avoid confusion, I will put the links to Mediafire directly here; I just hope there are no inconveniences for ModDB administrators. I had to use Mediafire because I couldn't upload the files right here ...

Idk what is that, previous files was normal.
I am not sure what is the error that causes these strange letters. It may be the program you use to unzip the compressed file, which is not compatible or I don't know.
To verify again, I have just downloaded the compressed file that is shared right here, and I can decompress it correctly and see the contents of the text files well. I use the WinRar 5.71 program (64bits) and it works well for me.
If the problem is that you couldn't see the download links, well, I hope you can download the files from the direct links to Mediafire that I have mentioned before.
And don't worry, in the "Readme.txt" file there is no indispensable information; It says the same as in the other previous parts. So, if you want to see what to say there, you can look at the "Readme.txt" file in part 3, or look here in the description section. It is practically the same.

Thanks, i using old version 4.01 of winrar. Maybe that cause problems. Direct links working well, thank you again. Little problems with my country, but with vpn all okay. Severance BoD is part of my young life. You're best, for doing what developers can't do and can't see at all those years. I love this game!
Download was ok for me ,nothing wrong with it.
If you downloaded it through your browser ,that could be the reason ,i've had weird characters in files that i've downloaded through my browser in the past.
The link is not getting passed through correctly.
Also ,make sure you are using the latest version of winrar to extract the text file from the rar archive..
You did extract the text file from the archive first ?
You'll get errors if you're trying to open a new rar archive with an old winrar release.
Also ,maybe use a program like 'IDM or Jdownloader' to grab the links and download.
I use IDM to grab browser links and i also use Jdownloader for some links.

Try 'Notepad plus plus' for opening text files.

Well, the graphic modes depend on the hardware, if the hardware is compatible with some of them, then it will work. In some new computers the game goes well, but I am not so lucky; I have changed my computer 4 or 5 times and it only worked well in the first one (technology of the year 2005). In the first one I had Windows XP with an ATI RADEON 128MB graphics card and 3GB RAM; and the game works fine in Windows XP. On my current computer, I have Windows 7, with a dualcore, with an ATI RADEON HD 4600 graphics card, and with 4GB of RAM (technology of the year 2010); but I have compatibility problems, so the game becomes very unstable and slows down or accelerates... But I repeat, those problems are only due to incompatibility with the hardware I have. I continue working on the Mod, even with these problems.
I can only say what I have checked with my computer; you could check each graphic mode on your computer and verify which one works well for you.
(1) r3Dfx Voodoo 1-2 --> It does not work on my computer hardware, but in others it may work.
(2) rOpen GL --> Works well in my computer, the menu letters can be seen.
(3) D3d --> Works well in my computer, but the menu letters turn black and cannot be seen.
(4) D3d Voodoo 3 and Banshee --> It does not work on my computer hardware, but in others it may work.
(5) Voodoo 1-2 D3d v04 --> It does not work on my computer hardware, but in others it may work.
About the recommended hardware requirements for HD textures and for the next version of Hyperborean Mod, I can only say that it should be better than my obsolete computer: More than a DualCore, more than 6GB RAM, a graphics card with more than 1GB.
