ScrumbleShip is the most accurate space combat simulation devised to date. Gather resources, construct a capital ship out of individual blocks, then pilot it with AI or human help against other players.
Made myself another ship to test out the game. Here's an internal shot of part of it. I'll post an external shot in a day or two.
The experience was pretty fun with the new sounds and music, although the slowdowns from the large numbers of voxels on the screen were frustrating. I think I'll make a priority to fix that issue before next release.
Hah, yes. Those are the mini diesel engine. It's the smallest internal power source available, and the only one currently implemented. We also have solar arrays.
In the final game, those engines would take fuel from a nearby cache and provide power to the nearby wires. The wires would then distribute this power throughout the ship.
Nezumi has a larger (2x2x3 blocks?) version of the diesel engine in the works, as well as a fusion generator. (3x3x3 blocks)
