Revenge Of The Cats: Ethernet is a free experimental online multiplayer FPS with unique gameplay: Alternate between the pure energy "ether form" and the physical manifestation called "CAT". Capture territory and defeat enemies using a multitude of weapons, grenades, and target-seeking discs that can be deflected and steered around corners. Thanks to the territory capturing and the fact that you can only change into CAT form on friendly territory, this game is much deeper than your usual abstract shooter.

Revenge Of The Cats: Ethernet should become available on Desura really soon now (tm). Just a quick reminder: If you want to give the game a try but the servers are empty, use the game's "Global Player Chat" feature to find people to play with.

Welp. Is there a mac version?
Mac version should be available before the end of the month.
Could not try. System: Ubuntu 11.10 with 4 Gig of RAM and dual GeForce 8600 GTS in SLI mode. Error message:
"Could not find a compatible OpenGL display resolution. Please check your driver configuration. (Error: Couldn't find matching GLX visual)"
I know it's not my driver configuration, as countless games and apps (including more than a few Windows games under Wine) run fine, as does my fancy 3D compositing KDE desktop.

Just played a little bit with another guy on the server and got my *** royally kicked, I'll have to figure out how exactly the game works I guess. I really like the form changing and zone control mechanics, makes it interesting. The sky changing color is also a nice touch :)
