Red Alert 2: Apocalypse Rising brings the exciting storyline and epic clashes from the classic Westwood Studios game, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 to realm of first person shooters, with a twist. We've remained loyal to the style and feel of the 2000 classic, while integrating content from its expansion Yuri's Revenge with a bit of updated history to add to the mix. Built off the W3D engine Westwood Studios built for classics such as Earth & Beyond and Command & Conquer: Renegade finished up in 2001, we help bring the fight to you as you play out your role as any one of a number of infantry classes participating in team-based combat that often involves land, sea, and air combined-arms clashes that just don't happen in any other game. Oh, and did we mention it's FREE?

Awesome. It would be nice to see Operation Red Dawn as well (Soviet 1).

Just a note. If Kirovs are not controllable, I would make them heading the same direction as the transport planes. Like a nice decoration. But if they are controllable, then ignore this post.

Not bad, but some of those animations REALLY need work.

Test version is test version, and thus only a few are allowed to play it.

We don't have an animator, so we're struggling a bit in that department.

Very promising but yet still bold looking, yeah I know that it is early alpha.I hope that when one day this is finished there gonna be a lot people on server, since it would be very disappointing to play battles that are mean to fight on epic scales with just ten people or less.
Anyway great work nevertheless,I sincerely hope that more people will hear
about this project because of two reasons, more people for online play, and
second is that maybe some have skills to help in developing this mod,
thus speeding up whole process of making of final product.
Two questions tho,are there gonna be Allied Snipers on this map ?
And is there possibility of garrisoning those buildings ?

We'll make a big PR push leading up to the game's release that should hopefully get the players we need to support a good game.

There could be Allied Snipers on this map, we haven't decided yet.
In the future we'd like to give the buildings some interiors so that players can shoot from the windows.

If anyone is wondering why the C-130s were used because in the intro of RA2 you could see them in the invasion.

Just pointing it out to those who are confused.

Wow, that engine is really showing it's age, wouldn't you guys consider moving this project to a newer engine? I mean a lot of work went into this it seems, and it's painful seing it all held back by the old W3D's limits.
