Hi. Many of you knwo the 3.0 update has been out for some time, and there are many problems that i need to fix.

here is the list of things done=

Inability to launch the PC version- FIXED/ Just take the contents of the QUARTAL folder and put them in the ID1 folder, and then delete the QUARTAL folder.
Phat EBOOT- Fixed by St1x/ PHAT EBOOT will be posted in the next update
Lag in the water levels - FIXED/ High Energy Pallet sounds lagged the PSP due to there major Quality.

it still says 2.5
Modeler still needed for Cores
Animator still needed for the cores
St1x has left/is leaving, he has done enough ( said by him )
Eboot picture is still the 0.1 eboot of Kurok

i do know a coder and a modeler/animator but i am awaiting a reply from them, and besides, they have a project also

Expect the final release to be ready whence the cores and final boss are in place.

Don't worry, we aren't dropping or abandoning this game, we are just busy. We ARE thinking about certain things, and we are debating on whether or not we should remake it (Since its kinda a piece of **** right now) or just fix it.

Don't worry everyone, a REAL full version will be out before the PSP scene dies out completely

I agree, but we are still figuring out how we can try this again AND keep working on our other, bigger projects.
Plus, the Orange Box is going to be on PSNow soon (PSVITA) and Portal already has a port to Nvidia tablets, so there is not much of a need for this.
But we are always up to make you guys happy.

ummm you always could keep it as a side project and work in it from time to time, or something like that... that or approach the game like another big project and put it down in your list of things to do :b

And well, yeah, but actually I don't find any strong reason to buy a Vita, unless they put all the good psp games in the vita store, not just the popular ones (thing that is unlikely), and some one find a way to have all the emulators too... and... well, actually I would like to have a nice portal on my old psp that refuses to die jj n.n

So if you have any sugguestions or ideas, just shoot and eventually we will answer.

Yea, I will talk with the rest of the team on pushing away some stuff to work on this for the time being

All known bugs in Quartal-
- Player is unable to move at the start of the game
SOLUTION- Something is wrong with the Place_Model code, causing the models hitbox to be the same exact size of the players, and the radio model within the map is pointing directly at the spawn
- Landing in a portal at a certian speed and angle teleports player to the origin, outside of the testing area
SOLUTION- Remove the peice of code that involves the origin, or place the coordinates inside the testing area
- GLaDOS Map is laggy and unfinished
SOLUTION- Time for me to get off of my lazy bum and fix this
- High Energy Pallets have no sounds (UNFIXABLE)
Reason- The ongoing sounds add major lag to the game, so they must be removed entirley
- One of the last areas of the finalized version was overlooked and has no exit
SOLUTION- Time to get to work
- Portals cannot be seen through (UNFIXABLE)
REASON- The current engine cannot handle those types of portals, the only engine that can is DarkQuake, DarkQuake is VERY BAD at loading Q1BSP, and it would take longer to re-do the game for that engine than releasing the fixed game.
- Cubes do not block Turret Bullets
SOLUTION- add collision detection with the cubes
- Falling off of the edge in TC13/14 does not kill the player, and the player is stuck
SOLUTION- Add back in trigger_hurt

Looks like me and the rest of the team have a bit of work to do.
