Pulsedrive will be a single-player experience of high speed.You will be able to choose between three different ships, which are accelerated by the pulse of music. Because the music becomes faster and faster it will be more and more difficult to steer your ship through the courses. The longer you are able to control your ship without crashing into the wall the higher will be your score. Your ship is limited in stability. Passing gates activate a multiplicator for points, which is increased when you pass gates one after the other.

Some addendum to our last news - a video - and an overview about the features of and content in Pulsedrive Alpha.

We are still working on the environment for Pulsedrive Alpha. Last news we already presented our skydome, now we have created the day/night cycle.

>>Pulsedrive Alpha

Pulsedrive Alpha is just a codewort for our prototype, which will feature: the core gameplay mode, three different ship models, one environment theme, one track theme and one song of the soundtrack. In addition we have planned to build in a music loader which enables you to control a ship accelerated to your favorite beats.

All essential gameplay elements of the later game should be implemented and Pulsedrive Alpha will be released for free. Release will be first half of 2012!

Good idea :D We have planned to let the cubes glow depending on the beat of the current soundtrack. But first we have to finish the implementation of this feature in [w]tech ;)
