Description
Blue & Pink Swirl Portals are the 2006 Beta version of the Portals made by valve. I have modified the normally orange Swirl to be pink (Magenta) like the Portals seen earlier in development.

How do I install this correctly?
im having same problem
Sorry for not helping I lost access to this account and just got it back. To install you must first decompress the the Swirls.rar file. Then if you haven't already go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Portal\portal (or where ever your portal is installed) and create a folder called "custom" without the speech marks. Like so: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Portal\portal\custom You then drag the Swirls folder in there and everything should work fine.
the vines portal turn into white boxes, why?
because your DX level is not 90. make sure to turn it to 90, somebody might help you
