Our protagonist travels to Pixelville to fulfill his greatest dream and to marry the beautiful young princess Arianna Annabelle di Grandigund Hyacinthe. To do this he must prove himself a horsemen winning the championship of "The Big 5", recognized as the unbeatable knights of the realm. According to the king, "who manages to defeat in combat will be a good suitor for his daughter!" An epic adventure set in medieval ambient and the world of chivalry, where our protagonist must acquire new and increasingly better equipment to achieve his mission.

This last six months with you have been wonderful. Our first big project Pixelry came to existence and a lot of incredible opportunities and posibilities came up for Evelend games.
Then, after the oficial release, we got the support of the whole community and players who enjoyed and founded the updates until now.
But, even after the amazing feedback and support we got, at a certain point we found it extremly difficult to continue developing the project for a few simple reasons.
One of them is the fact that we are both living far away from each other, in different time-zones. We now have to take care of all the different handicaps this means to our lives and the development itself.
And second but more importantly is the economic issue.
Developing a game is not easy as you might know. It is a lot of work, specially if you are only 2 people. You need a lot of services (such as an internet connection, computers, electricity...) and of course a place to live. Pixelry wasn't enough for us to afford all of that so we had to take part-time jobs to be able to continue the development of the game.
As you might now, Spain had recently an economic collapse making everyting even more difficult. We had to leave Spain, each one of us to a different place, seeking for a better chance. Pixelry had been our main goal until then, but it simply can't be anymore.
One of the concepts of Alphafunding and crowdfunding is, as you can read on Desura's description of it's own Alphafunding section, the possibility to "fund the games continued creation". ( Here's a link to the whole descriptionIndiedb.com )
If the projects get enough support, then they keep going.Unfortunately there will be no "happy ending" for Pixelry. At least not at the moment. Due to financial deficiency, we won't be able to continue it's development in the near future.
We can't emphasize it more: We love the development work. We would love to continue, since it's what we enjoy the most. But reality today doesn't allow us to be part of the gaming scene at the moment.
Now, this is not a pretentious letter to say "We can't be rich, then this doesn't work". Not at all.But we need to give up on Pixelry because it took us more than half a year and wasn't even enough to pay a rent for one month.We have been working before that without knowing about the final results and we had the same plan for the future, but we've learnt it might turn absolutely unsustainable, and that's precisely what happened to Pixelry.We bet we're not the only developers going through this.
Writing this is not easy for us, but we think the community and all players who have given us their support and feedback deserve to know what happened to the project. You guys are the ones who made Pixelry possible, and we hope we can bring it back one day.
Hopefully we will see each other soon again. There will be more of Pixelry or maybe another project. Time will tell.Again, we don't know how to thank you for the amazing time we have spent together.
