Hey guys!

We are still working on the next updates.
Emilio is also working on an open source program to make videogames, which will eventually look like one   :P

And that's basically today's report, because this article is not going to be about ourselves but dedicated to you, future indie developer!

Today we are going to give you some tips.
We learnt their relevance by sistematically ignoring them till we collapsed.

Even if you create (or play with) dragons and potions and fairies and wizards and witches and shiny flying things from your computer, remember you are still a human being.

First:

Do you recognize that pain in your stomach after a few programming hours?
It's technical name is "Hunger".
It hurts because those "few" hours were maybe... twelve?, and you were probably starving since even longer.

 TIP: Cook properly  :D
Remember that, although some knights and superheros take energetic crap and alcoholic drinks, it's just a fashion that's obsolete.  Water is the real machos and programming king's drink!

Second:

You should try to clean up after cooking, to avoid those killer dish mountains somebody should already have programmed a scary game about.

It's not a matter of order, but public health. You guys don't wanna grow assassin mutant bacteria in the kitchen and spend a week in the toilet afterwards (True story)

TIP: Please... do it. You really don't wanna go through that...

Third:

Well, maybe nobody cares about health here, but... who wants to look like one of Twilight vampires?
It's important to keep in mind that only by sleeping we recover our energies and creativity.
White sheeps beat red bulls!!!

TIP: To avoid further serious issues, like having anything to do with Twilight, remember to sleep properly and have some exposition to daylight.

Fourth:

When you feel your heartbeat rises up to one million bpm only by going to pee, it's time for some exercise!
(Of course, let's assume you really take time to go to the toilet and noticed...)

TIP: Don't think you have to be like one of those 300 guys to be healthy, but even your game development depends on a balanced lifestyle, and a bit of exercise is necessary.

All this can also be applied to you, gamers!

 We hope you enjoyed it!

Remember we've started a fundraising on 8-bitfunding* to give this game a shot.

There are interesting gifts for the donors who give a hand to our pixelvillian friends from the future :D  Check them out!

Hello Evelend Games,

Recently, I've been wondering if you stopped working on Pixelry since there are no more announcement. Are you working on a new game? The Pixelry Multiplayer would be kind of useless if there's no community.

Hello Damisk!
We were working on a little "72 hours" competition actually, but we are still working on pixelry of course.

We are going trough a difficult personal situation so right now it's hard for us to make announcement but near in the future we'll be back with strength!

Thanks for worring, we are not going anywhere! :)

Hey there! I've been playing Pixelry for several hours now and I've become mostly invincible in a short amount of time (I started a new game). It took me 30 minutes to max out my weapon while having a low leveled armor/shield. All this because of the 1500 gold (twice) I earned by getting X2, X2, X2 and X2 in the race. Shouldn't there be a limit of those? I got 3k real quick and maxed out my weapon and became invincible, since I'm getting good at blocking attacks. I think there should be a limit to level up an equipment more than other. For example, you shouldn't be able to upgrade your sword more than level 5 if your armor is level 3, same for the shield.

I'm still really enjoying your game, quick access to epic fun!

Hey DaMisk! Awesome feedback! We just balanced the race so it won't be so easy to get the x2 once a certain gold is reached. Thank you so much for the tip!

Game is great as it is, fits a good area of gaming. Focused gameplay, does it's job well.. but it feels like it needs a bit more. I know it's alpha but perhaps expanding the world into a kingdom with different towns and cities that have other minigames for gold or some extras.

Personally I think the game would go GREAT with an expanded world and adding more of what it has. Certain towns and cities could have exclusive minigames and perhaps different jousting rules?

I really like where this is going though and I can see the developers know how to stay focused and not get stuck on adding too much at one time. My theory is to keep each version playable so if the devs walked away, it would be enjoyable and complete in it's own way.

Thanks for your feedback nurgle523 :)

For now we are not considering "expanding" the world but too make the "outside world" coming to the city.
The main plot talks about knights coming from different countries to pixelville to take the 5 champions challenge, so we are going to add special characters that will be part of the game, together with a lot more event implemented with the future calendar system. That way the world will be more dynamic and interesting.

Anyways we are going to think about your ideas, they are pretty interesting.

Hi! Thanks for your review and feedback!
The horse customisation is in its "alpha" stage too. Just as your armor all items regarding equipment on the game will be editable, that means the horse armor and clothes, shield, weapon etc (For the horse cloths we have to think a good system since each horse has a 4 frames animation)

The "lance shattering" system sounds like an awesome idea! We'll think about it.

For now we are not thinking about recording voices since the text may change in the future, but it's also a good future feature!

Thanks for making an interesting fun game. :)

On the matter of lance shattering, based on the current system, my thought is critical hits could always result in a shattered lance (with free replacement). A good chance for particles and slo-mo! I don't recal, but are there bad hits, too? If so, those could result in dropping the lance as you make a strike, to show the hit's weakness. Lastly, I tink I've noticed some hits can penetrate low level shields. What if when those hits are taken they cause the character to lean back and momentarily twist, or slouch in the saddle, and drag the lance, and the same could go for someone hit by a shattered lance?
