Here is the latest in our new weekly Overgrowth alpha format! David himself took some time to illustrate the traditional changelog in video form.
Don't forget that you can help support us, try out our weekly alphas (such as the one in the video), and chat with other preorderers in the Secret Preorder Forum by preordering Overgrowth.
Be sure to watch it in HD!
The features highlighted in the above video are as follows (among some extra ones thrown in for good measure):

- Fix for imposter stipple transition
- Added generic GUI with Angelscript interface
- Added level.as for full-level scripting
- Improved ReadCharacter Angelscript functions
- Moved music selection and victory check to level script
- Improved self-shadowing with slight blur
- Fixed shadow swimming by locking shadow movement to texel increments
- Script globals saved and restored when reloading scripts
Thanks as always for all the support! See you guys in IRC and the forums.

Getting better all the time. My most anticipated indie game!
small but nice update :) especially for guys who like to play around in the scripting :) Can't wait for the next tuesday morning :)
Ah yes... Making the code easier to manipulate. That's a really good thing all programmers are advised to do. Even if they didn't use to do this in the past, they start doing it sooner or later.
ever thought of modelling hedgehogs for this game?
dont forget the blue skin ;)
xD That bunny was fast.
Meep Meep!
¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba! ¡Epa¡ ¡Epa! ¡Epa! Yeehaw!
Looks great, guys.
Got any goals for what must be included when Overgrowth is hitting beta?
I realize others may have asked this before, but:
Will there be a demo when the game is complete?
Probably. I don't see any reason for it not to happen.
JAZZ JACKRABBIT!
It all looks great! But some of the animations are a bit offputting for me. The jump in particular, how his hands go really straight, looks a bit weird. :/
Apart from that it's looking fab!! :]
Great stuff, was funny watching him move so fast.
