Some models and textures from the PSP Indie video game, Nazi Zombies: Portable.

Posted by MitchellS on Nov 30th, 2009

Well, Nazi Zombies: Portable has some new models and textures to show. They are not final, but they are very nice. We have gotten some hands, a textured colt, and a grenade.... here they are! :).

Hands:

Grenade:

And finally, the textured Colt:

Don't worry folks! We plan to have some stuff in-game soon! We just need to fix up some animations, of course.

Make sure the guns and hands are no more than 1000 polys total unless you want a bad framerate. If it is a zombie game then it needs to be lower than that because you will be having a lot of enemies around..

These limits are rather low but it is because of the psp's hardware.

The models look nice though! I would love to see what this becomes.

The grenades model has a nice clean wire frame, who modeled it?
Nice work so far, but maybe change the name. Still have the theme the same but a new name.

Nice idea! I still got the old fat PSP, will this work for it? Also, I would ask you to release a "Fast-FPS" version with all programming done, but all models, textures, and animations done in a way to get maybe even lower than 500 polys for a zombie. That would be awesome, i care more for fps than detail. Nazi Zombies is a very good game, and i hope this will be too :)

Can you post me some technical information please? Like what filetypes and programs you are dealing with, and do you know ca. how much space the game is going to require?

Looking forward to play it!

Don't listen to this guy.

With a Fat PSP and firmware 4.05, you can either make a Pandora battery youself, or use one of the exploits available.

I'm not sure if any are available for 4.05, you have to look into it yourself.

Well yes of course it will work on psp fat, also thats not a too bad idea but i dont think that will do much.... but we are working on to make it run as smooth as possible but make it look as good as possible.
as for technical data im not sure what you mean, also for size im sure it will be 100% under 100-80mb
